Love.

Real love.
I am called to really love the people I encounter in life.
And I am happy to say, the bible tells me exactly how to.


1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 


I need to be patient.
I need to be kind.
I cannot envy.
I cannot boast.
I cannot be prideful.
I cannot dishonor others.
I cannot be self-seeking.
I cannot be easily angered.
I cannot keep any record of wrongs.
I cannot delight in evil.
I must rejoice in the truth.
I must protect.
I must trust.
I must hope.
I will persevere.


Romans 12:9-10.
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 


I can only trust in the one who has my life in His hands. 
In Him, I can do all things.
I will persevere. :)
