Our God Is Able.

If I ever find myself doubting that God can do more than I can dream or expect...He just proves me wrong.


I know nobody reads my blog really...BUT I will talk to you 'readers' as if I am not the only person who reads this. 
Last night (or this morning because I stayed up super late...) I posted 'Deep Roots.' about tree roots and how I came across that blog and photo from google images. Well, the writer of that blog is a pastor from Washington. And I decided to follow him on Twitter...which I just made last week. So this morning I decided to check my e-mail (I literally never check my e-mail, but I've been forcing myself to lately because of college stuff) I saw that there was an e-mail from twitter with that pastor's username. I figured that he decided to follow me...but then I realized there were two e-mails, so I clicked on the second one. It said he sent me a message. First I had to figure out how to find the message, but eventually I figured it out. Here is the message he sent: Now this may be totally a random coincidence, but did you know that I am moving to be the Pastor at Living Hope Church in Monterey- Sept 11? Of course it was a random coincidence...I found him on google because I was looking at pictures of tree roots. Who the heck even looks at pictures of tree roots? Sorry, I find that hilarious. So, eventually I was able to send him an e-mail and tell him all about this story. And now I'm thinking that I am going to have to check out this church, considering things like this don't just happen...to quote Tim Barley -- "Odd or God?" This one is definitely God. 


It's weird because I am not in Monterey yet, but I have had my heart set on Monterey Church since June. But I can see that God wants me to keep my options open and my heart sensitive to His plan...not my own.

I have been struggling with mixed emotions about leaving. But what I am coming to realize more and more is that people are not mean...they are just people. Usually people will treat you the way you treat them...AND God is sovereign and has a perfect plan for all of our lives. Even if it's not exactly what we were expecting it to be. Our God is more than able.
